The baby carrier physiocarrier of Love Radius is a physiological baby carrier compatible from birth that we bought for our baby. And, this is our best purchase of the entire birth list! Why? Because for the past twenty fourth months, we’ve been using it every day and it’s part of all our trips! And we use it over and over again! So, we wanted to share our review and test of the Physiocarrier Love Radius after more than two years of use.
Why did we buy the Physiocarrier of Love Radius?
As city inhabitants, we were looking for a baby carrying system that was compatible from birth. However, we did not like slings. The knots, the slightly too feminine appearance and the fact that they were used for the first six months mainly made us prefer a baby carrier. Choosing which carrier took me a lot of time because I knew it would be used a lot.
On a daily basis, it is ideal for carrying your baby on a walk or even during shopping. When travelling, we only take the baby carrier with us. The comfort for baby and for us parents, was therefore essential because on holiday, it is not uncommon for him to spend a large part of the day in it, especially when he was very small.
We needed a compatible baby carrier from birth, comfortable for the baby, for the carrier and which appeals to both dad and mom! The Love Radius brand, which specializes in slings, has convinced us to buy this Physiocarrier baby carrier!
Another argument in favour of the Physiocarrier: the various carrying positions: ventral (from birth to 18 months) or dorsal (from 6 to 36 months). It is also possible to carry baby aside. However, I have never tested this position. Its duration of use and its evolution over three years makes its price very low!

Physiocarrier Love Radius, our review
After more than a year of use, our opinion of the Physiocarrier Love Radius is very positive. At first, we had a little trouble getting used to the straps and adjustments. But it was a matter of a few days of adaptation. Today, we can’t go on travel without our Physiocarrier.
Physiocarrier, baby side
Baby carrier from birth
Compatible from birth with the pack booster, its head is well maintained for the first four months. Thanks to the booster seat, the baby’s backs and legs are wrapped so that his back is rounded and his legs do not swing. Otherwise, the baby’s hips are not protected and the use of the carrier is then not recommended until six months of age.
We kept the booster cushion until he was five months old (and not four as recommended) because my baby was better positioned. Namely, the booster seat is used after six months: to carry baby in the higher back!
The Physiocarrier has a headrest that holds the baby’s head when it is very small but also protects it from the sun when it is hot. Only one reproach, it quickly becomes too small.
Comfortable for baby
After twenty-four months in the Physiocarrier, it is always there that our baby falls asleep best, whether against Mom or Dad. He very quickly preferred the baby carrier to the stroller. So much so that we do everything in Love Radius. We no longer count the number of times the stroller has finished the empty walk…! What baby loves the most is being able to enjoy the scenery and then fall asleep when he is tired.
Since he is older, it is possible to put one of his arms over the carrier to better point out to Mom or Dad what interests him.
We always take care to check that he is properly installed and that the baby carrier does not tighten him. Be careful, however, we only buy him soft cotton clothes, with as little sewing as possible. Jeans and other such pants tend to mark the legs.
With its soft and breathable fabric, our baby can fall asleep in his baby carrier comfortably. On the baby side, the purchase of the Physiocarrier is widely validated!
Phyisiocarrier Love Radius, is it comfortable for the wearer’s back?
On the parents’ side, this baby carrier is also fully loved for many reasons.
Easy to install
Installation and position change are very handy. We prefer the ventral position for walks and thus share what we see but also to sleep. On the back, it’s mainly at home and on photo outings. Now that he is becoming a toddler, he is mainly carried in the back. The ventral position is still useful in the metro, for instance or when he needs mummy or daddy for comfort.
I can easily set up my baby on my own. On the back, it’s a trick to take, but you get there after a few tries at home. It is very easy to change the carrier since there are only two straps to adjust. The Physiocarrier is very easy to use.
And, great trick of the Phyisiocarrier: no straps lying around, each of them has an elastic band to shorten it. Having tried other baby carriers, as well as backpacks with too long straps, we would like to have this system everywhere.
Comfortable for parents
The other important point for a baby carrier: the comfort of the physiocarrier back for the carrier. If carrying your baby gives you back pain, you won’t go far with it. For us too, it was a decisive criterion because even before the pregnancy, I had a painful back. With the Physiocarrier Love Radius, my fragile back does not suffer. I very often come back from a walk with two big shopping bags, in addition to carrying a baby, without encountering any discomfort (except that it’s heavy, of course)!
Only reproach, the father did not like the booster pack, finding that the booster cushion was uncomfortable for the wearer’s stomach. I didn’t feel that discomfort on my side.
Today, my baby weighs eleven kilos and the Physiocarrier remains my preferred method of carrying. There is not a day I don’t use it. You just have to be patient the first few times and fix the straps properly before you go for a walk so that your baby’s weight is well distributed! Then you know your baby carrier and you know very quickly when an adjustment is not done properly.
The Love Radius Physiocarrier is comfortable for the wearer’s back, I have never had any pain with it. The other plus, it is the well padded shoulder straps that protect the shoulders. Finally, the fabric is soft and breathable, so you can wear it even with a thin shoulder strap or bare shoulder top.
Easy to use
The Physiocarrier is also very practical to use. First of all, it washes in the machine which is essential when you know that baby wet it a lot.
In summer, to limit the heat, the back pocket can be raised to let the ventilated fabric alone against baby.
This same pocket is also useful to slip in keys, credit card and phone to get out very light. Be careful, it doesn’t close, if you take baby out of the carrier everything falls. I only use the pocket when I leave for a short errand.
Finally, now that our baby is walking a lot, the Physiocarrier is always practical because when our little one wants to take a few steps, I either store the baby carrier in the bag or keep it tied in my back. This allows you to have both hands free and to be able to walk with your little one!
Between aerated fabric, pocket and easily washable, the Physiocarrier meets our needs as parents! This is also what we liked and convinced us to buy the Love Radius baby carrier!
